My photos of the demolition of the 133-year-old St. James Catholic Church at 2942 S. Wabash Avenue in Bronzeville. St. James was designed by Brooklyn-born architect Patrick C. Keely, who designed over 600 churches across the country,  including Holy Name Cathedral and Notre Dame University’s Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
